» Listings for September 2009Posted on Monday Sep 28 0:00:00 BST 2009 Been so busy recently I haven't had time to update the blog or barely anything on the website !! First off, the jewellery party went really well but it made me realise how difficult it is to cater for every taste and every age group. The younger ones are after totally different things to the mid twenties which is totally different to the mid thirties which is totally different to what the more mature ladies like. It's just so hard !! I made a gorgeous necklace out of the vegetable ivory beads I got on the way back from Devon. It was that nice it never even made it onto the website as it was snapped up in no time at all. Speaking of the website - need to get the husband to get some of the more recent designs on here. He seems to be having the same problem as me at the moment where there just aren't enough hours in the day. He got up on Saturday with all intentions of getting loads done on listing products and ended up just getting the one new line on !! Didn't help that we had to make an emergency trip to Bedazzlebeads as we were low on Pendants for Sunday. Posted on Thursday Sep 10 0:00:00 BST 2009 Been a busy last couple of days as I am doing a jewellery party tomorrow night. Spent the last two evenings getting all the handmade jewellery that I am planning on taking together - it's times like this you realise just how many individual items that you have made. The things that are on this website only scratch the surface of the things that I have made because it takes my husband longer to get photos of the jewellery that meet his exacting standards to go on the website than it does for me to make each piece. There are times I tell him to just get a "snap" taken and put them up there for people to see. To be fair though he is getting better and I suppose I wouldn't be happy if the pictures didn't go at least half way to doing the things I have made justice !!! Will let you know how the party went sometime over the weekend - wish me luck |
